Abstract Title: Improving the Transition into Adulthood Process for Children with Neurodevelopmental Disabilities

Summary: Children with neurodevelopmental disabilities and their caregivers face additional challenges as patients transition into adulthood. This study evaluated the preferences of topics that caregivers vs clinicians would like to address during "transition" visits. This highlights a growing acceptance that patient-centered care ensures there is dedicated time to discuss the needs, questions, and queries of patients/caregivers, especially for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities.
