People whose fantasy football leagues extend into Week 17 generally fall into one of two categories:  procrastinators (as in "our league didn't get its act together in time for Week 1 of the NFL season") or sadists (as in "I like when the championship of a league I've put a lot of time into this season is decided by random things like teams resting stars for the playoffs, injured players being shut down for the year, etc.").
