Often as we battle through the complexities of our lives, we feel helpless and alone. Things like addiction, the loss of a loved one, and past physical abuse threaten to derail our future. We mistakenly believe that no one else could ever understand or relate to what we are going through. Ironically though, shrouded in the smiles, warm embraces and normal clothing (whatever that is today), we are surrounded by those who have overcome similiar struggles in their lives.
