The world is changing and we need to turn to important friends and family that can truly guide and educate us to the matters that matter most. I reconnected with a friend who wears so many hats, dedicates time to event planning, being a mother, wife, dating and relationship online contributor for a magazine, and stars in a reality show. However, today a hat she wears since birth and she carries so strong matters very much to her and others.
I invited Sadie to my podcast to help educate myself and my listeners on what matters to a black woman. What words mean to a black woman, and what support means to a black woman. I asked her about things I might say that could be wrong and how can I correct them, and she guided me. We for sure laughed with TikTok talk, husband and dating talk, and how thankful I am to have her in my world. It's not as hard or scary as it seems to just ask and communicate to learn.
