On this 18th day of our 40 Days of Prayer for the Healing of Our Country, our prayer is a Litany of Contradictory Things, crafted by the Rev. Don Zimmer, a pastor, spiritual director, artist and writer in Southern Maryland. He built it on a prayer by Michael Moynahan, SJ in the little book, Hearts on Fire: Praying With the Jesuits.
