It would not be an unfair statement to say that the EU is going through a lot of difficult times. With BREXIT, a wave of far-right nationalism, and terrorism all taking chunks out of the EU project..... it seems as if their closes ally - the United States of America is also adding to their pressures in a multitude of ways which is testing the EU to its limits.
