He talks about touring DC Murals and street art, and the burgeoning street art scene in DC, why DC’s art is unique, and how to best see it. He shares stories about his favorite murals and artists and what it takes to be part of a changing and growing art movement.
Jason Bowers is a Tour Guide, Art Events Management, Curator, Broker, and Gallery Manager. Jason has lived in DC for nearly 15 years and has watched the city’s street art and mural scene grow rapidly. He’s an experienced tour guide with years of tour guide experience.
For the past four years he’s been part of the team bringing a major international mural festival to DC (POW! WOW! DC). He has been fortunate to work with many of the artists whose work paint the walls of NE DC.
