Matt Santangelo exemplifies the 3Ps - passion, purpose and principle. After having been an over-achieving HS basketball star in Portland, Oregon, Matt became the 3-time all-league point guard at Gonzaga University, leading them to their first ever Elite 8 NCAA appearance, and National exposure. Top 10 all-time in assists and scoring at Gonzaga, Matt was a member of the 1999 Gold Medal-winning USA Men’s Team at the World University games, and then played professionally in Greece, Spain, Italy, and Russia. From 2014-2021 Matt served as the Executive Director of HOOPFEST, the world's largest three-on-three basketball event (non-profit), hosting over 7000 teams annually. Matt is fiercely dedicated to developing basketball, helping young people succeed, and to his own family - a servant leader on and off of the court. His simple wisdom and his 3Ps are worthwhile listening.
