The most evident proof of our Christian maturity and the sternest test of the genuineness of our faith is revealed in how we treat and respond to people. Hence, the royal law or principle of faith is genuine love.

Counterfeit faith can be known for its inability to bear the fruit of genuine, kind-hearted, and long-suffering love. It may be intellectual and emotional, but it lacks the spiritual spark of life.

The Holy Spirit is the source of genuine faith and its essence. It is fellowship with the indwelling reality of His presence that produces the substance of faith in our hearts, and this substance enables us to act out our convictions.
