We here at his funeral now. A legend in the comedy game. Had go dedicate the 1st episode of the 38114 show to Tyler Craig. Lomax and I discuss old memories of Tyler Craig and working together in the comedy business.

Tyler Craig. #RIP

Throughout his career, Craig has performed on BET’s “Comic View” and HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam,” and has opened for comedians including Cedric the Entertainer and Chris Tucker.

He also appeared in movies such as 2010’s “Baby Mama’s Club” and 2018’s “Unkillable.”

In a 2018 interview with NBC Memphis, Craig explained the origins of his catchphrase.

“One of my jokes, at the end I said, ‘And the moral of the story is be yourself,’ and that’s where it started,” he said at the time. “'Cause I feel like you have to learn something after each trial and tribulation you go through. So you’re really not losing, you’re learning how to win.”
