Anyone who is involved in leadership has no doubt encountered the incredible work of Carey Nieuwhof. Carey is the founding and teaching pastor of Connexus Church near Toronto Canada. His blog is one of the most widely read blogs among Christian leaders and The Carey Nieuwhof Leadership Podcast is regularly among the top leadership podcasts and it continues to grow dramatically.
Carey is the author of two very successful books, Lasting Impact: 7 Powerful Conversations That Will Help Your Church Grow and Leading Change Without Losing It: Five Strategies That Can Revolutionize How You Lead Change When Facing Opposition.Carey started out in law school after college, but there that he met his wife and experienced a call to ministry. He changed course and attended seminary, taking his leadership skills into pastoral ministry where he has been for over 20 years. Recently, Carey wrote the Foreword to Terry Linhart’s (37’s co-host) book, The Self-Aware Leader: Discovering your Blind Spots to Reach your Ministry Potential. Carey is passionate about helping other leaders lead like never before and that is evident in every blog post, podcast, and conversation.
We’re honoured (we spelled it like Canadians, eh?) to have Carey on our podcast.
