A new Podcast Episode on Lindisfarne – Where the Vikings entered England in 793AD and destroyed the Christian monastary that was there and took the monks as slaves. The island is known as Holy Island and is a site of pilgrimage due to St Aidan and St Cuthbert, both of whom spread Christianity across Northumbria and England in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.
