Dr. Ben Stone crashes his car in a small out-of-the-way town on his way to a new job as a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills. His punishment is to serve as the town doctor until he's repaid his debt. When he meets the beautiful ambulance driver, Lou, he questions whether this little town is a complete waste after all.
