Ramius is a Lithuanian-born Russian submarine commander with a Scottish accent who is planning to take the experimental submarine he just stole from the Soviet Union and defect to the United States. Jack Ryan is an analyst who doesn't know when to keep his big mouth shut. Now he has to convince the U.S. military not to kill Ramius.
