Esmeralda "Ezzy" Castellon is a multi-faceted artist. She wrote her first one person show “Once Upon A Caterpillar” and premiered it in April of 2010 at Teatro LA Tea. Since then Esmeralda has performed it on Theater Row, Off-Broadway, in various stages in NYC, Florida, Ohio, and Peru.

Along with being a playwright, Esmeralda has been an acting coach, director, and creative consultant to several faith-based and not-for-profit organizations in the Bronx, such as C.O.A.C., Community Connections for Youth Inc., Youth Advocates NYC, and Harvest Fields Community Church.
