Steven Patzer's bio:
Steven D. Patzer is an advocate for entrepreneurship and financial education for students and young people of all income levels. As a Brooklyn resident who grew up in a low income, single-parent household, he ascended to the Kingsborough Community College Board of Directors where he served as the youngest member in history. He played a leading role in advocating for legislation to establish safe meetup places for the sale and trade of private goods, which received attention from NY1 and Brooklyn Reporter.
Within the Democratic Party, Patzer advocates against anti-Semitism and for economic equality. He served as the Chief of Staff to the East Coast director at the Simon Wiesenthal Center and currently serves as President of the Thomas Jefferson Democratic Club Young Democrats in Southern Brooklyn. In 2016, Patzer was invited by CNN and NY1 to comment on the first Presidential Debate at CUNY studios in Manhattan.
