Dr. Mark's bio: 

Mark's learning how to live generously in ways that empower, not create, dependency. He invested a decade working for charities in Latin America and Asia before leading a prominent private Canadian foundation in 2000. For the next 15 years, Dr. Petersen pioneered ways to make family philanthropy more meaningful and impactful. he created Stronger Philanthropy in 2015 to share his experience with additional grantmakers who love giving well. Mark just received his DMin degree from George Fox University where he researched generational leadership shifts occurring in family philanthropy. He's based in the town of St Stephen, New Brunswick, but travel frequently across Canada to visit clients.
