Released in 1985 in USA and Japan, and in 1987 in Europe, Super Mario Bros. is considered by many to be the game responsible for the resurgence of videogames in the late 80’s. It influenced the entire industry with its refined sidescrolling platformer gameplay, also being the best selling game worldwide for more than three decades.
