Dr. Susan Elza is the first female UIL athletics director in the 105-year history of the organization. A Waco Midway high school graduate, Dr. Elza has served as the (Justin) Northwest ISD Executive Director of Athletics. Before that, she was assistant AD in the Allen school district and has been a head softball coach in both Garland and Allen.
