If first impressions leave lasting impressions then Darian DeVries' debut as West Virginia basketball coach won't soon be forgotten. The rebuilt Mountaineers strangled visiting Robert Morris 87-59 in a game that wasn't that close.  

West Virginia scored 21 unanswered points to start the game, and ended any hopes Robert Morris had of upsetting the Mountaineers.
