Welcome Jamie Sumner to the podcast for Episode 2. Jamie is a Wichita, KS native who made his way playing football at Wichita North High to Coffeyville Community College and then on to THE Ohio State University.
Hear him discuss what that path was like, along with what it was like playing at one of the historical great programs in college football. Learn a little about what it was like playing on a team with a Heisman Trophy winner as well as a Pro Football Hall of Famer and many more football greats. Jamie started all 26 games in his two years at OSU '94/'95 playing Left Guard.
With experience as a college football assistant coach as well hear some advice from a recruiters perspective on what to do and even what not to do if you are or have a player dreaming of playing at the next level.
Also hear how football and sports translates when moving into the post playing days "real world" after those playing days are over.
