Payton's week!

In 1974, 19 year old Arlis Perry was brutally murdered at Stanford Memorial Church on the Stanford University Campus. While the police had suspects and theories, they weren't able to make any arrests because there wasn't enough evidence. Arlis's murder became a cold case, and while over the years there have been many theories, after 40 years of being unsolved police were able to link DNA to her killer. 
Of course one of the theories mentioned is the alleged Son of Sam link. Police were never able to definitively link the two, but the theory is still being discussed.
