The Joker Synopsis: Forever alone in a crowd, failed comedian Arthur Fleck seeks connection as he walks the streets of Gotham City. Arthur wears two masks -- the one he paints for his day job as a clown, and the guise he projects in a futile attempt to feel like he's part of the world around him. Isolated, bullied and disregarded by society, Fleck begins a slow descent into madness as he transforms into the criminal mastermind known as the Joker.

Batwoman episode one Synopsis: Three years after the mysterious disappearance of the Gotham City-based vigilante Batman, Mayor Michael Akins appoints Jacob Kane and his firm, Crows Security, with protecting the city. At an event to turn off the Bat-Signal, the Wonderland Gang, led by the enigmatic Alice, kidnaps operative Sophie Moore, prompting Kane's stepdaughter Mary to call his biological daughter Kate. Kate returns to Gotham and, after learning the Wonderland Gang is targeting her father, sets out to locate her missing cousin, billionaire philanthropist Bruce Wayne, only to learn he and Batman are one and the same. Donning her cousin's Batsuit, which Wayne Enterprises employee Luke Fox modifies to fit her, Kate rescues Sophie and prevents Alice from carrying out a bomb threat. The following day, as the news reports on what they believe to be Batman's return, Kate begins to suspect Alice is her sister Beth, who was presumed dead after a horrific car crash.
