Nick and Taylor breakdown the second legs of the quarterfinals across the three European competitions, which were sadly predictable and boring in the Champions League but absolutely exhilarating in the Europa and Conference Leagues. For the first time since the 2004/05 season, we will have a Derby della Madonnina between AC Milan and Inter Milan in the Champions League, along with a rematch between Real Madrid and Manchester City from last season.

The Europa League featured some astonishing scenes across the second legs of the quarterfinals, where Sevilla capitalized on numerous Man United mistakes right in front of their own goal, Juventus edged a superb Sporting side in Lisbon, Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen dismantled Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium, and a resilient Roma rose again under Jose Mourinho thanks to Dybala and co. to complete a remarkable comeback against Feyenoord.

Finally, the Conference League produced some exceptional ties in which two matches were settled either in extra time or penalty kicks! Fiorentina survived a scare at home against Lech Poznan after going 3-0 down to score twice and solidify an aggregate win in Tuscany; Basel achieved the unthinkable in southern France, scoring an equalizer LATE in regulation to force extra time, then scoring the winner after 98 minutes; West Ham cooked Gent in London and look to remain the favorites to win the competition; and AZ Alkmaar scored twice early at home to equalize on aggregate and force penalties, which they clinically converted to eliminate Anderlecht.

Predictions for the European semifinals to come!
