At the tender age of 15, Shannan discovered she was pregnant.  After missing her appointment for an abortion, she decided to carry to term.  In her second trimester, her cousin stepped forward to adopt the baby.  Thirty-four years later, Shannan sits down with Cari to reflect and discuss their thoughts on adoption, family, and how we pay it forward.
