What if I told you that for a brief stint yours truly was homeless, would you believe me? What if I told you I picked up a part-time job at a gym just so I could take a shower, would you believe me? Well it's all true and I promise I'm going somewhere with this.

One of the coolest things in life is when the stars line up and I get to meet some kick ass, everyday people and Veterans who keep fighting the good fight to help bring an end to suicide, Veteran suicide and Veteran homelessness. With that said, you don't want to miss this special episode as I sit down with Marine Veteran Karalyn Martin to showcase some of the ways she's been able to help fight veteran homelessness (females specifically) and her own personal story that literally rocked me during this interview.

We're going to talk about the good, the bad and the ugly on how many women have been treated in the service and how she has been able to prevail from retaliation. This isn't a male bashing segment at all, it's her story. It's one of many similar stories that are starting to surface for the general public to see. I'm just so glad she chose to come on our show to tell us how she was able to overcome some of the darkest demons imaginable. She's a fighter to say the least.

Also check out the links below to learn about some of the resources we talk about on this episode. They're reputable non-profits here to help you or someone you love with mental health, veteran homelessness or hell, to reconnect with comrades. We're all here to help, just reach out to someone and tell them we sent you!!
