For our final episode of season 3, I wanted to change it up a bit. I was referred by one of our previous guests to talk to a very sweet lady who lost her late son Joseph Schultz while serving overseas. Once I spoke to her, I knew I had to get her on quickly!

Immediately after her son's death, Ms. Betsy decided to keep his legacy alive by creating a non-profit in his honor. Her goal is to help Gold Star families within the U.S. get connected with others all while providing them a safe place to stay. And get this... all expenses are taken care of so they can really focus on that. Now what is a Gold Star family you ask? It's a family who has lost a loved one while serving in the Military. The sad part is many of these families tend to get left behind once their loved one dies. Ms. Betsy's mission is to help change that. So get ready for one of the cutest episodes we've done thus far. What a beautiful honor it was to sit down with this amazing woman.
