Disappointments are part of life. Beyond personal disappointments that we might experience, there are a number of big disappointments in history. The probably greatest one in a Christian context happened in October 1844. Why does God allow His faithful believers to spread a "lie", why does He let us walk "in darkness" if He could show us the "right" solution immediately? Can it be that God wants His children to find certain things on their own? And if so, why does He use disappointments to make it happen?
