Joining us in the studio today is a virtuoso artistic talent, our very good friend, Papay Solomon. As a Phoenix-based painter, Papay Solomon has been working hard to mythologize and empower the narrative of African immigrants living in the West, through his bold and electrifying portraits. Solomon will be presenting his much deserved first solo exhibition, “African for the First Time” at the Joseph Gross Gallery in Tucson, AZ on February 13th at 4pm.
