It was a joy to talk with Morgan Cheek.  She is a wife, mom to twin girls with severe special needs, and an author.  Morgan is walking through what many of us can’t imagine, taking care of her twin daughters who are 2 of only 20 people in the world with a rare genetic condition. In Morgan’s own words from her blog…
“We have so many things unanswered, yet we serve a God who is The Answer to EVERY mystery, and who holds each chapter of all of our lives in the palm of His hand. As my husband often reminds me, we are,  “perplexed but not in despair” (2 Corinthians 4:8) because we know a Greater Hope awaits us. Without a diagnosis, no prognosis or estimation of what the future will look like for the girls has been given. This has resulted in us living each and every day like the gift that it is.”
Our conversation was so rich and encouraging to me.  Definitely one to listen to if you are walking through a really tough time, where the Sunday school answers aren’t cutting it.  Morgan and her husband are also in process of adopting, which is a beautiful story as well!
