It follows the story of Michelle Carter, who was given prison time after being charged with manslaughter in the suicide of her boyfriend, Conrad Roy. At the time it happened, it was crazy as hell. Watching the doc after the fact is even crazier. Tia talks just how messed up of a situation it was, social media relationships, and how embarrassing it would be to have people read through your texts (very).
