Trent is, in my eyes, a pioneer of gaming pedagogy.  Having seen his work first hand at NASAGA conferences, as well as at some of teaching conferences I ran at Hackley, he is an innovator, and a force to be reckoned with when it comes to gamification, collaborative world building, and teaching in general.
