Its draft day in 2005, and the same two names being talked about then, are being talked about now. Alex Smith, the first overall pick and Aaron Rodgers the twenty-fourth overall pick. These two will forever be linked together. The career paths for both players were polar opposites. One went on to be on the games best, and the other always seems to be the underdog, even in his new chapter of his life. Alex Smith new documentary was released "Project 11" and it gives insight to Alex Smith's horrific injury back in 2018. The strength and determination of Alex Smith, is inspiring, and matched by no one. Rodgers, not injuried physically, but maybe mentally. After the Packers drafted a potential replacement just one week ago in the NFL draft, is the relationship between him and the organization damaged? Or a big overreaction? Brett Favre thinks its the former, because he lived it and was in Rodgers position, when just 15 years ago, Rodgers was draft to replace Favre, same as Jordan Love was to replace Rodgers. Talk about irony.
