Before January could even come to a close we got ANOTHER huge acquisition in gaming. Sony has announced that they are purchasing Bungie to the tune of $3.6B, their biggest acquisition yet. Unlike Microsoft, however, Sony immediately announced that Destiny 2 and projects currently in development by Bungie would remain multiplatform. While this is a good move by Sony, it does beg the question - Why?
