We lead off with Fred Manning who had DBS surgery nearly 2 months ago, he talks about his experience. After Fred we have an interview with Jonathan Braddock. Jon talks about his life before and life after his Parkinson’s diagnosis which was roughly a year ago. Additionally, Jon talks about his book called the “YOPD CLUB”. He talks about why he wrote it and the people he interviewed for the book. This is a must read if your newly diagnosed or seasoned PD’ers like me. Remember to leave a review after you read it, check out this review. “If ever there was a book to allay your fears and answer so many of your questions after a YOPD diagnosis, this is it. These ten inspirational people demonstrate exactly what every ‘newbie’ needs to know - that they and Parkinson’s can live a pretty normal, productive and happy life alongside each other, but also that it’s ok to have bad days and be scared about the future. Congratulations to William J. Braddock for filling so well a much needed gap in the available reading matter for young onset Parkinson’s people. His intelligence, empathy and straightforward, honest approach shine through.”
