We're talking about sex, baby! More specifically, female sexuality and the shame that surrounds it. We watched the Goop Lap episode "The Pleasure Is Ours" featuring Betty Dodson. This launched us into our own discussion around our own sex education (LACK THEREOF) and the over all shame around women being sexual creatures. Some of our talking points include:

-Sex education coming from Cosmo magazine, rumors, talking with friends, real sex HBO

-"Sex Stories From Catholic School"

-Fear mongering of children to scare them from pleasure and sex

-The concept of virginity

-Bad language about vaginas and products made to clean them

-Knowing your body physically before having sex with a partner

-How women’s bodies are portrayed in porn
