Granted AJ is a few years older than Dom it seemed as if they were always dealing with the same obstacles at the same time (especially in their adulthood). Within the last 2 years, their paralleled worlds became even more alike with Dom welcoming his daughter into the world, and AJ already being a father over a decade to his son.
