The Death Curse leaves Mairi no time to mourn if she doesn't want to be resting in piece herself, so she and Thanriel take Mat with them to Kir Sabal. The aarakocra monastery is the last place the oracle told Mairi she has to go, to "prove herself" and participate in the Dance of the Seven Winds. How hard can it be?
