Dr. Andrea Stathopoulos is a neuroscientist and AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow with NSF. Her specific role happens to include a fair amount of science communication. She would like to speak about how and why she transitioned away from academic science (research & teaching) and pursuing something else. She used to do Neuroscience research in graduate school and taught biology at a small liberal arts college for a few years after that.
Listen in to learn more about why Andrea left academia and what her current role looks like now.
