In this episode Celine Crawford (host) welcomes Rahma Javed, Director of Engineering at Deliveroo to discuss stereotypes. Rahma, of South Asian descent is a practicing Muslim that dons the traditional Hijab. She shares her learnings and insights on her experience with stereotypes being a woman in Tech and reconciling her Faith with her desire to be independent and have a career. This is an inspirational lady who has graduated from the University of Toronto in Computer Engineering. She previously worked for Microsoft, Blackberry, IBM, and fintech start-up Wealthfront and sits on the board of Charity Right UK and FactMata.
