Comfort movie month continues with a trip back to 1995. It was an incredible year for cinema that gave us such classics as Before Sunrise, Casino, City of Lost Children, Heat, and most importantly, A Goofy Movie. This movie has been near and dear to my heart since it was first released. From the heart-warming father and son story at its heart, to the incredible soundtrack, to Pauly Shore showing up to build towers out of squeezy cheese. It’s a classic from start to finish and never fails to put a smile on my face when I’m feeling low. Deep Space Nine does a lot of things right with episode 16, The Forsaken, and things wrap up with the second book in Jeff VanderMeer’s Southern Reach Trilogy, Authority.
