Eileen Mendel is an Executive Business Strategist and one of the few Certified "Life Mastery Consultants" in the world. Eileen moved to San Diego in 2012 from Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she was actively involved in organizing and attending events for the local MIT Alumni Club.
In 2018, Eileen rebranded her company to Centerpoint Vortex Strategies to better reflect the rapidly evolving landscape of the business world. With the constant disruptions and shifts in industries today, she focuses on helping CEOs and business owners of technology-based firms stay grounded amidst the whirlwind of change. By developing strategic business and life plans, Eileen helps clients achieve higher performance and greater fulfillment in an environment where yesterday's solutions are already outdated.
Eileen holds a master's degree in marketing from the MIT Sloan School of Management. She has a wealth of experience, having worked as a marketing executive at Bristol-Myers Squibb and Berlex Biosciences, as well as a Wealth Advisor with Morgan Stanley. Prior to founding Centerpoint Vortex Strategies, she was the CEO of her own firm, The Mendel Group, where she collaborated with senior executives at Fortune 500 companies and played a pivotal role in business development deals and IPOs for start-ups backed by prestigious venture capital firms such as Kleiner Perkins and Blue Cross Blue Shield Ventures.
Eileen is also the author of five seminal books for the biopharmaceutical industry and has been featured on NPR, in The San Jose Business Journal, and The San Francisco Business Journal.
