Dilman Yasin received her Masters of Science in Healthcare Informatics in December 2017 from Lipscomb University. She completed her undergraduate degree at TN State University where she received a Bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene in 2014. She is currently working in the booming healthcare industry in Nashville as a Health Operations Analyst and

She also serves as the Director of Community Outreach for the NPO, The Kurdish Professionals. Which is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting education, mentoring, and professional networking in the communities. They focus on supporting the youth in maximizing their education and professional opportunities in a team-work environment and away from political and religious influences. Kurdish Professionals is open to everyone interested in their mission and they encourage active participation to make the communities better by building character and professionalism.

Dilman believes strongly in advocating for education among Kurds but especially women. “ If you educate a man, you educate an individual, but if you educate a woman, you educate a nation.
