Singer-songwriter Daniel Sid was diagnosed with pulmonary embolism after surgery where he almost died and ended with blood clots in his lungs. There was a one per cent chance that something could go wrong and well, he fell into that bracket. It was an incredibly difficult week in the Intensive Care Unit but music saved him.
After National Service, Daniel went to Europe for four months, busking on the streets where he discovered the voice that led to him to the career he has today.
Adrian Abraham speaks to Daniel about his new single, Black Hearts, some of the artists that inspired him during his career and how he pivoted during the the Covid-19 pandemic.
