Alexander Zverev became the first German to win the men's singles Olympic gold medal as he beat Karen Khachanov in straight sets at Tokyo 2020.

The 24-year-old beat world number one Novak Djokovic in the last four to reach the final, ending the Serb's hopes of a historic Golden Slam.

While in the women's singles, Belinda Bencic became the first Swiss woman to win Olympic tennis gold as she overcame Czech Marketa Vondrousova

Adrian Abraham speaks to Emaad Akhtar, former Broadcast Journalist at Fox Sports Asia about Zverev's historic triumph, why all is not lost for Djokovic and where Bencic goes from here.
