Retro arcade bar NINETEEN80 is back with a new drinks programme to resume the nostalgia. Rebooted as a snack bar in the wake of the new normal, the 80s time capsule along central Tanjong Pagar now welcomes guests to unwind over an updated cocktail menu and daily Happy Hours while immersed in a neon-lit ambience of iconic references.

Adrian Abraham speaks to Joshua Pillai, co-owner, NINETEEN80 about how the pandemic has affected operations and what's on the menu at the revamped establishment.

Joshua's group, A Phat Cat Collective also launched Rails, a bar inspired by Tanjong Pagar Railway Station. Rails was initially meant to be a dance club but given the pandemic, the concept had to be adapted to a dining and drinking spot in Tanjong Pagar. Joshua shares more about the concept and what we can expect from the latest bar.
