Show notes
Tonight Nick and Martyn are joined by Graeme Cooper head of future markets at national grid plc. The national grid has an interest in energy in the UK and US. One thing that is talked about a lot with EVs is can the national grid cope with everyone going electric Graeme answers that but we also talk about how the grid itself plans to be net-zero by 2030 for part of its running time but the national grid plc plan to be net-zero as a company by 2050. Graeme brings up the subject of how we need to be LESS tribal when it comes to energy if we truly care about the environment then at least the short term hydrogen still needs to be on the table as a fuel source. EVNick And EVNews Daily are interviewing just 12 people a year. All the people being interviewed fit the category of most influential and important people in the EV space.
