A bodhisattva saves others from hardship and suffering; a great bodhisattva takes on hardship and suffering itself. 

苦難を救うのは菩薩であり、苦難を代わりに受けるのは大菩薩である。

괴로움과 어려움을 구원을 하는 자는 보살이요, 괴로움과 어려움을 겪는 자는 대보살이다.
