Calls for police reform are growing louder in the wake of the killing of George Floyd, and in Canada, the debate is starting to hit city halls and provincial legislatures across the country.

In Edmonton, city council is in the middle of a heated public hearing, where councillors are being told story after story of incidents of racism, and demands for action on defunding or reforming the the police service.
