Three Good Witnesses- Humphrey Ward is on his way home to the US from Turkey. Barely into the journey, he becomes involved with trouble as he agrees to hide a woman in danger and helps to recover a briefcase which has been stolen.

The Vanishing Lady- An Englishwoman and her daughter stop in Paris while en route from India to England, and during their stop in Paris the mother becomes suddenly ill and disappears. the hotel staff as well as the attending doctor swear they have never seen the mother or daughter before.
